When I picked up Maddie yesterday Ms. K told me that she had a great day - she held her bottle all by herself for a few seconds! Ms. K has been working with her on being able to hold her bottle and yesterday was the first day she did it without any help from Ms. K! It was only for a few seconds, but that still counts!
It is so crazy to see how much she is learning each day. We have a smart little cookie on our hands and we couldn't love her more!

how great it is that maddie is starting to hold her own bottle. it shouldn't be too long before she starts playing the "now i hold bottle - now i drop bottle to floor - now you pick up bottle and give to me so we can continue to play this game."
you said maddie is a "sharp cookie." mom and dawn affectionately call maddie "maddie lou." i think i"ll call her "cookie."
